Anybody remember that donut & coffee party Flamingo Mama was hosting yesterday at her house? Well, it turned out to be quite the playdate with 9 kiddos under 10 running around on a sugar high from all those yummy donut holes! Not to mention the caffeine high we Mommys had after finishing that delicious pot of coffee:) Mmmmmmm.......
And remember those four letter words I was warning you about?? Well, after the really exciting news that our LOA is on it's way Friday, we didn't need to drown our sorrows after all:) Instead, we did some serious celebrating with words like "Yippeee" .....and "Woooohooooo"!! And I think we scared poor Flamingo Mama's husband into hiding with all of our chattering:)

And, one of the best things about our morning was that we were unexpectedly joined by the Dinello family who brought home their little sweetheart, Hope, from Wuxi in April 2008! Some of you who have known me for awhile may remember that Hope and Maia are only 2 months apart and knew each other well in China. We had the chance to meet Hope back in June, and I was so excited to see her and the Dinello clan again yesterday!
Here's a group picture with almost all of the kiddos! When it started snowing midmorning, the already wound up crew took off running for their coats and headed outside to enjoy the beautiful day. And the Mommys? We kept right on drinking our coffee and chatting up a storm!
This little cutie pie is Hope! Just being with her makes me all the more anxious to bring home our precious Maia!
And look who else enjoyed spending some time with Hope? Peanut was so happy to see her again, too, and took every chance he could to "help" Hope with her juice and donuts! It still seem so unreal that he's going to be a big brother in a few short weeks. WOW!!
