As I'm sitting here this morning, my hands are trembling and my heart is beating so fast with joy & gratitude!! I can hardly find the words to share with you the magnitude of the blessing we recieved very unexpectedly last nite. Just before bedtime, a very special someone (who would like to remain anonymous) called us & shared with us that they felt God calling them to give us a gift of $2,000 to bring our Maia home!! Oh my goodness!! For those of you new to our story, we found out two weeks ago today that China is increasing our orphanage donation fee by $2,000, for any families finishing their adoptions after Jan 1st. And this new fee is due when our Letter of Confirmation arrives to us, which could be any day. With the Christmas holiday nearing, and with our finances very much depleted after our Vietnam program closed last year, we had no idea how we would pay this amount. But our amazing Heavnenly Father did!! And we're praising Him with all of our hearts this morning, as we still are in awe of His goodness!! We're so humbled and so very thankful to this couple, who have become a part of the miracle of our journey to Maia. They are not only blessing us tremendously, but, even more so, blessing our precious little one by helping to bring her home! What a story we will have to tell her one day of the way that God provided for her to become our child!!

i was waaaayyy to excited that you got your losc, but this is just as awesome! did you ever think that the late timing with the losc was because of this whole thing? now that puppy can come through because you are ready to go!!

Hey, Heather, Praise God! He works in magical ways through different people. We are so excited for you. Rest in peace and know that he has his entire hand in little Maia's life.
