Something Different

For President's Day, we did something a little different and had a mini family reunion/play date at our house. These cupcakes in an ice cream cone creation were so much fun to make and even more fun to eat! Mmmmmmm........

Poor Nicky.....somehow his cupcake disappeared when he wasn't looking. I'm not sure, but I suspect a pregnant woman might have been responsible.



Nothing spells FUN like a big bag of plastic cups.....and a Peanut.....

For the paper airplane creator and newcomer to the group.......my cousin, Jason! Even though this was his first official playdate with all of us, Jason fit in so well that we've decided to let him host the next one:)



After launching his paper airplane from every possible place in the house, Ben had to take a break and hit the couch. He & Peanut have been best friends forever!



Nicky was pretty much mesmerized by the trains all day long:)



Even though they look like they're having a serious converstaion, Lena & Amy are actually discussing the chicken nuggets we ate for lunch!



Even "Sam" showed up for the play date! "Sam" is my sister Michele's baby who happens to be due on March 25th.......at about the same time we'll be due in China. We're all still trying to figure out how this will work out:)




This is Michele helping Ella & Nicky figure out how to fly their airplanes.



And this is the site of my dining room table after all ten of us feasted on chicken nuggets, "Smiles" and lots of other gourmet dishes. Thanks for a great day, everyone! We'll see you at Jason's house next week!
