Praise God!! Susannah is coming home!! I checked in on her family's blog last evening and read that little Susannah is well enough to travel home today!! Her parents were granted an expedited visa from China and are beginning the long trip to the US today. With all of the flights and layovers, their journey to the states will take almost 24 hours, a very tiring trip for a very exhausted family. Please continue to pray for them as they travel and for Susannah as her condition is still very serious.
Susannah's mom, Leslie, shared in the family's blog that precious Susannah is going to need open heart surgery as soon as she comes home for a very complicated heart defect that is causing her to go into heart failure. Most children with her condition only live to the age of 4. Susannah is three. My own heart just breaks thinking about that. The more I read about their strong faith, the more humbled and amazed I am. God is doing such a miracle in this family, and using this tiny girl to touch the lives of many, many people, in China and around the world!
