A Night At The Rainforest Cafe

Last evening we had the chance to finally meet with the wonderful family from D.C. who will be traveling with us to bring Ren and Maia home from Wuxi! We met at the Rainforest Cafe in Towson, MD, which was a lot trickier to find than we thought, but lots of fun once we were there! Mark & Elaine traveled to China in 2005 to adopt their beautiful little girl, Eden, and had so many funny stories to tell us about their adventures three years ago. We easily could have stayed and talked a few more hours at the Cafe, but our kiddos were having a little too much fun dancing in the aisles with the monkeys:) They were so cute (the monkeys and the kiddos)! At first, Peanut & Eden were a little shy, but they were soon best buddies and so silly together. We even caught them holding hands and tickling each other while we were walking through the mall together after dinner! We feel so blessed to be traveling with Mark, Elaine & and Eden, and we know God has been so good to us in giving us such a special family to share this journey with. We know it was no "accident" that we found each other all those months ago, and surely no "accident" that we ended up being in the same travel group now! Below is a picture of sweet little Eden! She just turned five in July and started kindergarten this fall, too. I can already tell that she and Peanut will have a ball together on our trip:)
