Just when we thought all the fun was winding down in our garden, we found this behind our sunflowers! Anyone want to guess what this might be?! It's a cantalope growing inside our fence:) How it ever started growing there, we'll never know. But it sure did make us laugh! Below is some Russian sage. It's a light purple color with a very distinct smell. You'll definately know if you've been trimming the sage:)
This is a little sprout that comes out of the coleus flower at the end of the season. It's so pretty and a shame you have to wait all summer long for the sprouts to bloom.
Fall is definately coming now.....the mums are blooming!
Petunias are still one of my very favorite flowers!
Our morning glories are going crazy this year! This is the OUTSIDE of our fence.....you should see the inside:)
These are the morning glory flowers all closed up at night time. In the early morning, they open and cover the vine with hundreds of beautiful purple and pink blooms.
Nobody told the pepper plants that summer is almost gone:)
My dear friend Amy gave me this beautiful sedum last year and it's getting so big! It blooms in the fall when the mums are blooming and will fade to a pretty shade of deep purple.
