As you can see, we're all getting a little bit stir crazy being in the house all the time! We're trying hard to stay home together as a family for a good week or more so that we can help Maia understand what it means to be in her house with her family. After all the moving around in China, we know that Maia needs some time to just get used to her new surroundings without a lot of excitement. Luckily, she and Peanut are finding lots of ways to entertain each other, although Daddy is really climbing the walls!
Maia loves her Mei Mei (baby), and spends hours pushing her mei mei around the house.
We even had to dig out our old stroller so that Peanut could join in the fun.
Daddy and Maia had a breakthrough moment this morning when they put together a huge train track. It was the longest period of time that Maia was content to play apart from Mommy for more than half an hour! Usually Maia starts looking for Mommy after not seeing me for about 5 mintues or so, but now I've discovered the golden ticket to some precious free time.....thank goodness for trains!

At least you are keeping your sense of humor. We want to go outside and play sooooo much, but the weather continues to be cold and rainy. I didn't realize I would have to have 2 of everything so fast. Kevin found Claire's doll stroller that she hasnt' played with it for MONTHS, but wanted it when he had it. So glad to see SuSu making strides everyday.
