After waiting all summer long, our beautiful sunflowers started blooming this week! Peanut planted them from seed back in late May and was so excited to see them open a few days ago. Last evening, the sunset was so pretty so we snapped a few pictures of them.
While I was taking pictures of the sunflowers, I caught a little someone creating a bouquet of blanket flowers for Mommy:) He was so proud of his "gift"!
How can I resist this cutie?
This is one of Peanut's favorite "tools" from the shed. Whenever M's outside mowing, Peanut follows behind with the spreader, pretending to fertilize the grass. I sure hope he's this enthusiastic to help with the lawn and flowerbeds when he's 16!
