There isn't anything new to share about our travel, but I wanted to share that seven families from our agency are leaving for China on August 22nd! Four of the families are in the special needs program and three families are in the traditional China program. Thankfully the Olympics haven't affected adoptions too much, and more children will be coming home in a few weeks! It looks like it's been taking about 4-5months for families to travel after they send their dossier to China, so our best prediction for bringing Maia home is December.....yikes!! We might be traveling pretty close to Christmas if timelines stay the same. Of course, things are always changing, so this is definately not set in stone:) The good news is that the program is running along smoothly and many precious children are being matched every day! And, our program director is anticipating that adoptions may speed up a bit more once the Olympics are over. Let's pray this is true:)

i'm so looking forward for you to travel. i know i will be soooo confused when it comes to travel plans...ie. how much money to take? that all seems so overwhelming to me right now! i'm so glad that you will have ALL the answers for me;)
as long away as that seems, it will be here very fast! i can't believe summer is over in 1 week! it seems like yesterday we had a 3 month summer break!
