Lo And Behold

Lo and behold.

We think our Maia may actually be able to be potty trained.

Because she IS being potty trained.

As we speak.

By her own decision.

After we had prepared for the possibility that she may never be able to be potty trained.

And after we had been told that it would be physically impossible by two surgeons.

And yet.

She is doing it.

Today.

Yesterday.

The day before that.

She is doing it!

And nobody is more amazed than Mommy.

Because it just doesn't make sense.

And it defies any medical explanations.

All logic.

And yet.

She is doing it!

We've been holding back.

Not thinking it was even in the realm of possibility.

And not totally believing the miracle unfolding before our eyes.

But she soooo wants to be a big girl.

With Dora underwear.

Just like everybody else.

And she's determined.

And she's doing it!

Did I mention that she's doing it??

Maybe it's too early to tell if this is for real.

Maybe it's just a fluke.

Maybe it's just crazy.

Or maybe it's just a miracle.

One never can tell.

What He can do.

Or what the promise of Dora underwear can do.

Who would have guessed??

But no matter what it is, she's doing it!

I just got chills reading this post. It's amazing what God can do, despite our doubts and our own lack of trust. Or maybe it's because of our doubts and lack of trust...He wants to remind us He is in control and I'm so glad He is!
