Look what my friend, Shelley, sent me today!! This is a picture of SuSu on the airplane ride in China from Nanjing to Guangzhou. What a wonderful surprise to see tonite in my email inbox! This was taken about 5 days after SuSu joined our family. She was peeking behind our seat to her little friend, Kevin, who was adopted from Wuxi, too. What a rare treat it was in China to see such a big smile on her face. She was usually so very serious and quiet, not at all the personality of the little girl who fills our home with smiles and laughter today! Someone asked me the other day at work if our SuSu was really as happy as she looks in all of her pictures. I didn't hesitate to answer with "You wouldn't even believe it!".
