We want to say a big "Congratulations!" to our friends, Mark & Billie, who are traveling their own beautiful adoption journey beside us! They shared the wonderful news with us today that they've committed to go forward with the adoption of a little girl from Wuxi, our daughter's orphanage! This is almost too good to be true! Mark & Billie began their adoption journey in August 2007, and were waiting for a referral of a healthy baby girl from Taiwan. However, as I've been sharing our story with them over the past few months, God must have been planting some seeds in their hearts for the waiting children in Wuxi.
Mark & Billie live in our hometown and have three bio kids, Dakota, Sierra and Christian. As we did in our process, they're sending a request to the CCAA to adopt this precious little girl. Until they have their official pre-approval to go forward with her adoption, I won't list her name or special needs here on my blog. I'm sooo excited to see her and am speechless at the amazing work God is doing in our lives as we journey together to Wuxi!
