Every summer, we visit Strasburg railroad in nearby Lancaster county at least a few times. This is where we captured this precious picture of Peanut and SuSu walking along the train tracks last week!
Even as a Mommy, there's something magical about hearing the whistle of a steam train. Even when you've heard it dozens of times before!
SuSu seems to love trains almost as much as her big brother.....and can easily be talked into a day at Strasburg knowing that a yummy cherry slushie awaits us!
If you're ever in Strasburg, there's a wonderful hotel nearby called Hershey Farms, that has a petting zoo and a lake and a place for the kiddos to play!
Not to mention this fun statue that the kids (and Prince Charming) had a ball posing with!
Oh, and probably the best part is the scrumptious smorgasbord with the biggest whoopie pies I've ever seen!!
