I think one of the things that draws us all back to Stone Harbor year after year is the quiet beauty of the beaches.
Stone Harbor sits at the southernmost tip of NJ, on what is known as Seven Mile Island. It's very small, and, if you blink while driving down Second Avenue, you just might miss it:)
This year it was unusually quiet, almost a ghost town really. And many mornings and evenings we nearly had the beach all to ourselves.
The weather was incredibly warm for early June, a real treat for the brave ones who ventured out into the ocean.
And the sunsets were breathtaking, perfect for Mommys with cameras!
After the adventures of the past few weeks, it was a cherished retreat and a gift for us all who were craving a bit of a getaway.
Can you tell that somebody is still wishing she was there?
