This past weekend, in the midst of the tropical storm coming up the coast, we ventured to the Poconos again! After a little rain Friday morning, the sun broke through the clouds and we enjoyed some wonderful crisp, cool, beautiful October weather.
Nana came along this time on our adventures, so we took her to some of our favorite water falls. To our surprise, the falls were even more breathtaking after the 9 inches of rain the Poconos had over the past week!
Once again, we discovered all sorts of little treasures.....toads, salamanders, crayfish.....everything a boy could want and more!
And our SuSu went fishing for the first time and caught trout and sunfish! She was so proud of herself and showed us all that she's quite the little fisherwoman:)
I think Peanut was a little bit surprised at how well his sister was doing fishing, but he caught a few treasures of his own.....a trout, a bluegill, a sunfish and a bass!
Yesterday we traveled home and already I miss the peacefulness of the woods and the beauty of the mornings by the creek.
Even Peanut is wondering when we can go and live there!
