Bundle Them Up!

With the days getting shorter and the air getting crisper, we try to squeeze in a few hours a week outside, even if it means really bundling up!

Last weekend we went to the park where my thinking tree lives and kept ourselves pretty warm in our bubble coats and mittens!

The kids really don't seem to mind the chill like we Mommas do, thankfully, and so we still are able to get a few hours of the outdoors in on the weekends.

I have to admit that I really love the changing seasons, even the cold winter that's looming before us.

Each season brings with it the anticipation of something new....whether it be the holidays, or the flowers blooming, or summer vacations. Each season means a beginning. And I love beginnings!

With the smell of woodstoves in the air, for us it means that Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. It means pumpkin pie and mistletoe. It means hot chocolate and stockings hung with care.

We're all excited this year.

Enjoying the beautiful fall days and anticipating the cold winter nites.

Bundled up in our winter coats, we know the fun of the season is nearly upon us!

Of course, this means we all need to be on our best behavior.

No teasing our little sisters....

Or sneaking candy from our big brother!

Yes, the seasons are changing. And we're all feeling ready!
